How do I open an account with 287 Capital?

Start at Open an Account. You'll verify your email, set a password, then complete a short KYC covering identity, address, tax residency and investment experience. Most Australian and NZ applicants are approved within one business day.

What markets and products can I trade?

ASX and US equities, ETFs, Australian government and corporate bonds, and access to selected primary IPOs and pre-IPO placements curated by our capital markets desk.

How are brokerage and fees charged?

ASX equities from 0.08% (min AUD 6), US equities from USD 0.0035/share, and bonds from 0.02% of face value (AUD 25 min). Fees are deducted from your cash balance automatically and itemised on your statement.

How do deposits and withdrawals work?

Fund your account by local AU BSB transfer, NZ bank transfer or international SWIFT wire. Outgoing wires require two-factor verification (Google Authenticator or email code) before submission to the admin desk.

How does 287 Capital protect my account?

We enforce email verification at sign-up, optional TOTP two-factor authentication on login, and step-up MFA on every outgoing wire and trade request. Client funds are held in segregated accounts under our AFSL obligations.

What is a franking credit?

A tax credit attached to Australian dividends representing company tax already paid. Australian resident shareholders can use franking credits to reduce personal tax payable, and in some cases receive a refund.

How do I participate in an IPO?

Eligible clients see live IPO allocations in the IPO Access page. Submit an indication of interest, and if allocated, the subscription amount is debited from your cash balance on settlement.
